In order to register with the Website you are required to submit your first and last names, preferred user name and password. If you have any queries about your details on the Diabetes Support database, please email admin@diabetessupport.co.uk.

When you have completed your registration, you will be asked to submit additional information including your address, email address and areas of interest (the "Additional Information"). You are not obliged to submit this additional information in order to register with or use the Website.

We may suspend and/or terminate (either in whole or in part) your use of any user name, password or this Website immediately for any reason.

Data Protection and Privacy
Diabetes Support takes data protection very seriously. We are committed to taking all reasonable steps to process and protect any personal data that you provide us in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We promise we will not pass your details to other organisations. We will only record details of your contact and membership of Diabetes Support for purposes of sending you newsletters/updtaes. If you do not wish to receive any further information from Diabetes Support please tick the box indicated on relevant forms or let us know when you contact us.

If you use standard email to communicate with Diabetes Support, including email links and email forms on this website, this will not be secure and you should be aware that Diabetes Support cannot guarantee that it remains confidential whilst in transit. We will only retain details provided in your email(s) for the purposes of dealing with your enquiry, unless we have clearly indicated the purposes of collecting personal data.

Sponsorship
Diabetes Support actively seeks sponsorship for sections of the website to help provide an invaluable service for people with diabetes, and to support external initiatives or events. Without the income from such relationships much of our work would not be viable.
