Hello
Hello all,
I think I'm on the right forum this time. Just diagnosed with Type 1 a couple of weeks ago. I've been reading replies and found the information really interesting. I really haven't got a clue at the moment but I'm sure I'll learn.

Hello welcome, but sorry you have had to join us. Ask any questions you want, or just have a rant when you need to let off some steam to people who understand what you are going through.

Hi Locar, and welcome
As has been said, everyone's really friendly here - they were all very helpful to me when I was diagnosed last year. Ask away with questions. Someone will be able to help, I'm sure!

Hello and welcome. I was diagnosied type 1 last year and there are some helpful souls here who've made me feel a lot better about it. Can be confusing when you first start (and even a year after you first started) - any questions, just ask

Thank you
Thank you all so very much, your replies are really appreciated. At he moment my health care team are trying to bring down my levels, I think they think they are a little higher than they should be, 22+, so just hoping it all settles down, though I don't know how long it takes.

Hi Locar and welcome to the forum.
It can take a few weeks to get things right - and even then things can change again - your body will probably still be producing insulin so things can change a lot in the beginning. You have joined a great place and if you need any help we are all here for you. Bev
